Membership Form – Branch (2015)

Our first year is a 15 month subscription fee of $65 which will cover the following costs:
Membership Fee (and Friendship Levy) – $43.95
Admin Levy – $15.00
Branch Donation – $6.05

Total payable: $65.00

Just so you know where your money is going….
The $43.95 goes straight towards some of the QCWA’s awesome charity and community work and supporting their various projects. This is paid by all members across the state every 12 months. Because we are a new branch, we get access to a 15 month membership for the price of 12 months for members joining now as a one-off.

The $15 admin levy will be paid by the branch on your behalf to the QCWA in June / July, this is a state-wide fee and we have elected to collect this at point of joining up to make collecting / handling / processing less painful for everyone (anther whole set less of receipts, cheques, meetings etc for all of us!).

The $6.05 branch donation is to start to kick off our club funds and savings towards our annual Insurance premium which will be payable in January.  The exact fee for 2016 is still being negotiated between the QCWA executive team and our insurers and we’ll be notified in due course but this may be upwards of $17.00 per head.  The $6.05 will get us started with our savings towards this amount and we’ll be conducting fundraising over the coming months to supplement this to keep costs as low as we can for our members.

There will be no monthly fees for members once you are paid-up (unless we are doing something super special one month and there is a supplement involved in a particular activity to pay for your materials, but we’ll be trying to avoid this wherever we can).  We will still charge visitors and only allow a small number of visits before they need to decide to join or not. You’ll also get access to all our sub-groups (book, craft, social and whatever else we dream up over the coming months!) for free so it’s a bargain really!
